Done using multiple refs of wolves and lions.
Slipstreme is not your run of the mill sabretooth tiger, but something between that of a feline and a canine, hence the canine like muzzle, long fur and long tail. The fur is spotted but the spots and eye stripe are obscured by the fur detailing. I believe this assumption hi is a sabretooth tiger, and thus hish anatomy is off, helped me get denied a gallery at Artspots.
I had wanted to do another realistic image of Slipstreme for a long time.
Slipstreme is a feral (four legged) not a furry, but is pictured as a furry because there are many things I can't picture a four legged animal doing in my non-clean gallery, and it sort of became a habit.

Terun, the lightning for God and truth
this is really good so realistic it feels like it couls turn and stare at you. awsome, but the hence the long tail was not really there so..... but still really good.
Slipstreme
Slipstreme is not a smilodon. I'm not sure what Slipstreme is but in meditation where hi showed up, he had a long tail.
The family of sabretoothed cats was a long family at one point and it is possible that a long tailed variant somewhere popped up as a different species at one point. Our knowledge of prehistoric beasts is limited at best, and it is also possible Slipstreme is a hybrid. Many people who believe in having animal spirits have traits of different animals combined in their spirit in a way that would not be possible in real life.
Thank you for the compliment though.
