Dreams of Gold by Slipstreme

Originally called "Like a Drowned Rat" I was essentially making fun of the fact that some swimmers go to the length to shave their entire body to save time, that and Slipstreme really looks really wierd with no fur. The picture begged for a background so I gave it one, Slipstreme posing in front of an Olympic poster after getting out of the pool at practice. I am not narcissistic enough to put a gold medal around hish neck but he can be dreaming of one. Watching the Olympics only reminded me I have not swam in over two years, making me wish I had a pool and was still in competitive swimming. No refs were used in this.

Inspired by chaoseven's abstract badges and a specific way I drew Slipstreme's skull once in a pre-sketch for a violent piece. So here is Slipstreme all geometrical and abstract-like, or at least as abstract as I can comfortably make it.

Sivet Eats Pizza by Slipstreme

Christmas card for Farelle of her rat poor Sivet, who has cancer. Sivet has a passion for pizza, though currently the only food she wants to eat. Please pray for Sivet. This is further proof my scanner sucks. The color in real life is so smooth, but the scanner has put streaks in it and washed it out. Photoshop barely saved this. Drawn using a ref for a rodent skeleton and a 3D plastic rat I have.

Realistic Slipstreme by Slipstreme

Done using multiple refs of wolves and lions. Slipstreme is not your run of the mill sabretooth tiger, but something between that of a feline and a canine, hence the canine like muzzle, long fur and long tail. The fur is spotted but the spots and eye stripe are obscured by the fur detailing. I believe this assumption hi is a sabretooth tiger, and thus hish anatomy is off, helped me get denied a gallery at Artspots. I had wanted to do another realistic image of Slipstreme for a long time. Slipstreme is a feral (four legged) not a furry, but is pictured as a furry because there are many things I can't picture a four legged animal doing in my non-clean gallery, and it sort of became a habit.
